Recently, we had the immense pleasure of doing a wedding dessert table for a very sweet couple, Chris and Rene.

Chris and Rene really went above and beyond for their guests. The couple, who don't need to eat gluten-free, wanted to accommodate the intolerance/allergies/preferences of their guests, thereby ensuring a happy event for everyone.
They made sure to include, vegan, gluten-free, and even some sugar-free options that would be sure to please everyone. After doing a three day tasting of the desserts, the two decided on the following items:
- vegan and gluten-free chocolate cupcakes topped with chocolate ganache
- sugar-free and vegan chocolate cupcakes with chocolate butter cream
- carrot cake cupcakes with little fondant leaf topped cream cheese frosting and mini pearl sprinkles
- mini java chocolate chip cheesecakes with espresso swirl
- mini tuxedo cheesecakes with creamy vanilla bean cheesecake, chocolate ganache, and chocolate curls

The wedding was nature themed and took place on a foggy day on the coast.
Sticking with their wishes, we kept the dessert table simple with some pine stands. For each type of dessert, we wrapped pieces of foraged drift wood with labels and secured them with twine bows. We also made a larger java chocolate chip cheesecake and topped it with the couple's initials in case they wanted to do a [cheese]cake cutting.

While we were setting everything up, a very sweet older woman stopped by and asked us if we happened to have anything gluten-free that she could eat. I squealed, "YES! Everything here is gluten-free!" She stared at me in disbelief and I had to show her all the tags before I think she really believed me. Definitely one of our top ten moments of opening the bakery.
Lovely desserts for sweet couple and equally sweet guests.
