name this sandwich: sliced chicken on carmelized onion and herb focaccia

Posted on February 16th, 2012, by charissa luke

Love our focaccia bread? Then you will LOVE our new sandwich!

This month we are introducing a new sandwich featuring our housemade focaccia bread. The carmalized onion and herb focaccia is sliced in half and filled with thinly sliced Boar’s Head chicken breast, fresh mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, and avocado.

Mouthwatering right!?

Now if you’ve been to the bakery before, you will know that we name all of our sandwiches after local streets. So we are looking to you, our fellow San Carlos community, to help us name this sandwich!

What San Carlos street name should we give to our new sandwich? Help us decide and you could win a free sandwich each for you and a friend!

Simply leave your suggested street name in the comments with an explanation of why the name fits the sandwich by 11:59 PM (PST) on Friday, February 24th. We’ll announce the winner on Sunday, February 26th after we read through all of the suggestions and pick one that we think is the best!

Already taken are: Crestview, Holly, Brittan, Arroyo, Elm, and Laurel.

Want extra chances of winning?

Note: you must be able to pick up the sandwiches in person.

2/26 Update: Drumroll please!…. And the name of the new sandwich is…. The Carmelita!

The winner of the two FREE sandwiches is Rachel!
