I am seeing now, that my last post was… lets just say awhile ago. *SHOCKING* Or maybe not. We have been so busy with our R&D projects that we’ve barely had a moment to get a post out. And on top of that, we found a Volkswagen truck which we are referring to as our little zestmobile. In a former life, Patrick worked restoring Volkswagen bugs. He’s always had a love of both the bugs and the 21 window vans that were so popular in the 60s. So when we came across the cutest little Volkswagen truck, Patrick had to have it. You may have seen it in front of the bakery, but if not, here is a picture:

It definitely needs some TLC, but otherwise we think it is adorable! Maybe you can help us name it? Is it female or male? Give us some suggestions in the comments!

While we weren’t oohing and ahhing over our latest family addition, the zestmobile, we were busy in the kitchen working out our sandwich menu. So without further adieu, here is our current selection of sandwiches which are all made on our daily-baked breads.

#1 The Crestview
Turkey, pesto mayo, arugula, tomatoes, and red onions on sliced white bread

#2 The Holly
Turkey, cranberry sauce, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickles, on sliced multigrain bread

#3 The Brittan
Ham, honey mustard, mayo, seasonal preserves, baby greens, tomatoes, red onion, on vegan sweet roll

#4 The Arroyo
Roast beef, beet horseradish spread, mayo, baby greens, tomatoes, red onion on a baguette

#5 The Elm
Roasted veggies and arugula on vegan sweet roll

#6 The Laurel
House-made almond butter and fruit preserves on sliced white or multigrain bread.
