As our name suggests, we are a passionate (and zesty!) bakery that strives to provide delicious, gluten-free foods and desserts in the Bay Area. To ensure there are no gluten-containing products present in the bakery or on our equipment, we built our bakery from scratch.
Many of our customers have Celiac disease or have an intolerance to gluten. Most commonly, the protein gluten is found in wheat, rye, or barley. These ingredients are the base of most breads and pastries. Because our customers typically can’t have the grains containing gluten, we maintain a gluten-free facility.
None of our products use the grains typical of most breads that contain gluten. Our goodies are baked fresh every day to bring you the freshest products possible. We aim to provide wholesome and affordable alternatives to the breads and desserts many people have to live without due to allergies.
There are many health benefits of avoiding traditional bakery ingredients. Refined, bleached flours can damage your digestive system and stimulate cravings. We strive to provide products that don’t contain these flours but taste just as great as those that you’re traditionally used to eating. We provide healthier alternatives for those who are intolerant of gluten or just want to be more mindful of how their diet impacts their weight, health and overall well being. Our goal is for even those without allergies to love our goodies!
Simply said, our products are great for Celiacs, but still good for everyone.
